the questions of this generation with only the traditions of the church, because those answers don't always match their understanding.
Dartanyan T. Jamerson, a native of Flint, MI., has been teaching, preaching, and serving all generations of the church and his local community for 25+ years.
Today he serves the Greater Faith Baptist Church in Orangeburg South Carolina as the Lead Pastor, where he is leading them to a new place in God they have not known before.
He also serves as the General Overseer of Children and Youth for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International. He’s the author of “Call Me Ishmael, Defying the Odds”, as well as the Founder, CEO, and Lead Thinker of LBD Legacy Consulting, LLC where he has helped secure more than $50 Million in grant funds for non-profits, faith-based, local, state, and federal organizations.
He has 25+ years of Workforce & Economic Development, Grant writing, and organizational leadership experience. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for The Salvation Army of Greater Cincinnati, Compassionate Justice of Cincinnati, and The Bishop Odis A. Floyd Foundation in Flint, MI.
He holds an Associate of Arts, Bachelor’s of Science, and a Master’s Degree, from Grace Christian University, and he is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is the proud husband to Shawnta, and father to Jasmine and twin brother Justin, Dartanyan Jr., Christian, and bonus daughter Jarielle.
